The origins of the Franco Casetta Company
The company was founded in 1965 by Franco Casetta,
who renewed the traditional agricultural activity that his family
had carried out for many years. The family name is one of the most
ancient in the area, and is kept alive by Franco’s sons, Walter
and Daniele, who now manage the company, always respecting
their father’s values. The brothers, over the years, have
managed to adapt the family business to the new market and have
given their unique products an international popularity.
Bric Val Moro and La Scassa Vineyards
The vineyards Walter and Daniele cultivate, are mainly situated
in Bric Val Moro and La Scassa,
two towns west of the Borgata Laione and of the
route to the Pilons of S.Giacomo, in an area
that has managed to keep its distant rural charm, and that the
millenary experience of farmers thoughtfully divided into woods
on one side, and vines on the other.

| Daniele, the youngest
of the two brothers, is in charge of the image and the commercialization
of the products. He runs the office, organising the delivery
of products, registering ordinations; he also looks after
the bureaucracy of the company, and is in charge of Public
Relations. He designs the labels, embellishing them year after
year so as to gain the approval of the acquirers. |
Walter, lover of nature
and of his countryside, looks after the vineyards from their
birth. He prunes them with the fundamental help of Luciana,
his Mother and teacher of this ancient art. Being the eldest,
Walter is more experienced as far as the wineshop is concerned,
and makes most of the decisions regarding wine-making and
bottling of products. |
