WHITE AND RED WINES
White and red wines: two products that color the Roero hills with their grapes and give wine lovers unique flavors and tastes.
The winery Franco Casetta offers eleven different wines: five red wines, four white wines and a rosé wine.
Upon reservation we can organize tasting events for groups of our bottled wines, served with local specialties.
RED WINES
From classic red wines like Barbera d’Alba Doc “Birbaciuna”, Dolcetto d’Alba Doc, Langhe Nebbiolo Doc, to Piemonte Bonarda Doc.
WHITE WINES
Langhe Arneis Doc, Langhe Favorita Doc and the sparkling wine Chardonnay Vino Spumante Brut.
ROSÈ WINES
Vaiot Rosè.
Our wines
Walter and Daniele Casetta believe that wine is mostly made “in the vineyards”. How? During the year the vineyards are cultivated with the greatest care: the soil is hoed right under the vine to let it “breathe”. Among the rows we leave natural grass growth, which maintains the right soil temperature and humidity, to guarantee perfect nutrition to the roots.
Natural soil and leaf fertilizers are used if they are necessary: Franco Casetta dedicates all his attention to let the plants grow naturally. What about the cellar? From the pressing to the fermentation, racking, ageing and bottling: our aim is to maintain the characteristics of the grapes. In the glass the wine has to represent the traditional perfumes and tastes of Roero.

Visit and discover our vinery
The Franco Casetta company offers its customers a spacious tasting room where you can taste wines from the cellar.
You can also make a visit to the cellar to see with own eyes the entire company, taste the different wines and spend a few hours in the quiet countryside.
This possibility is very welcome and even more if you do a phone call to notify us of your arrival to avoid finding the gate closed.
